Mrs. Shirley Taylor (Grandma Shirley) has been at CCA for almost as long as the school has been around. She has worked in many capacities for the school: prayer, office help, monitor, substitute teacher, and Supervisor for Preschool and Kindergarten. Currently, she teaches both Preschool and Kindergarten. This is no small task and Mrs. Taylor does it with such grace. She has been married to her husband David for 40 years. She has 3 grown sons: Jonathan, Andrew, and Seth. Her son Jonathan is studying to be an ordained minister. Her son Seth is a high school teacher at Griggsville-Perry High School. Her son Andrew was diagnosed as a teenager with Schizophrenia and lives in a nursing home in Peoria. Mrs. Taylor has learned a great deal of patience as a mother of a child who has special needs. She has a soft-spot in her heart for people who suffer with a mental illness. Raising a house full of boys has taught her the value of prayer. You've heard the saying, "A mother of three boys prays from son up to son down." (Yes, this is spelled correctly!) She is also the proud grandma of 3 CCA students: Silas, Charity-Grace, and Joshua. Mrs. Taylor attended both Parkland College and Richland Community College. She is certified as a Supervisor through Accelerated Christian Education. She not only serves in our school, but she is a servant in her church. She has worked in many, many areas in the church in her years as a Christian. She has worked in children's and women's ministries for years. She continues to work in these ministries now. She is also the caregiver for 4 of her friends. She loves people and has a servants heart. It shows in her students, because they truly love her. Mrs. Taylor has been a great teacher of Biblical principles and character for all of the children she has had the pleasure of working with throughout the years. She is a great asset to CCA. Mrs. Taylor has a love for the Lord that is very evident in her life. She accepted the Lord as her Savior in 1968 and pursued living her life for God ever since. She will typically greet you with a warm smile and a hug.

Pastor Dan Bell is the Administrator of Clinton Christian Academy. He is an ordained minister through the Assembly of God. He is also the senior pastor of Clinton Assembly of God (the church that houses our academy). Pastor Dan has been in ministry for over 35 years. His years in ministry has given him great wisdom and administration skills. He graduated from Thorton High School in Harvey, Illinois and is a graduate of Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota. He is certified as an administrator through Accelerated Christian Education.
Pastor Dan and his family have served the church and school for quite a few years. His father, Rev. Billy Bell is CCA's founder and the former pastor of Clinton Assembly of God. After Rev. Bell's retirement, Pastor Dan graciously stepped into his father's position and has taken the church and it's ministry in Christian education to a higher level. He has a great vision to serve by providing the families in Clinton and the surrounding area with an excellent education that provides a great Biblical foundation.
Pastor Dan has been married to his wife Lawanna for 25 years. They have six children: B.J. and Jessica (daughter in law), Michael, Danielle and Brendon (son in law), and Caleb. His daughter Danielle is a graduate of CCA and Caleb is currently a Senior. Pastor Dan and Lawanna are the proud grandparents of four: Eve, Bryar, Bryann, and Dakota.
Pastor Dan is a hard working pastor. It is not uncommon to find him working on the building, building something new, helping people move, visiting the sick, and praying faithfully for those in need. He brings to the ministry a good sense of organization and leadership. Under his leadership, the school has been able to impact the lives of many.
In his spare time, Pastor Dan enjoys spending time with his family. He likes to encourage people and witness to his neighbors. When you meet him, you will feel welcome and loved right away! He's quite a blessing to our school.
